50 Cent to Star in His Own Hulu Docuseries, Directed by Mandon Lovett

After executive producing Netflix’s Sean Combs: The Reckoning, 50 Cent is stepping in front of the camera for a new documentary series about his own life.

The three-part doc will trace Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s journey from the streets of Queens to becoming a global music and business powerhouse, with hits like In da Club and Candy Shop, his breakout role in Get Rich or Die Tryin’, and his executive work on Power.

Directed by Mandon Lovett (Boys in Blue, The French Montana Story: For Khadija), the series is produced by 50 Cent’s G-Unit Film & Television and IPC (Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman), with Patrick Altema (Dreamland: The Burning of Black Wall Street, Free Meek) as showrunner.

Per the logline, the doc “portrays a figure who has consistently transformed conflict and adversity into enduring cultural impact,” highlighting 50 Cent’s reinvention across music, business, and film.

The untitled project joins Hulu’s growing documentary slate alongside Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story and Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band.

50 Cent is represented by IAG, AKR Public Relations, and attorney Stephen J. Savva.
