Quiver Distribution is closing out the year with a chilling new horror-thriller, The Plantation, arriving on Digital and On Demand on December 19, 2025. The film marks a haunting new entry for the genre, taking audiences deep into the Louisiana swamps where history refuses to stay buried.
The film follows an interracial couple who head deep into the Louisiana swamps for a backpacking trip—only to land on the grounds of an old plantation where something sinister is determined to drag the past into the present. What starts as an escape into nature turns into a nightmare built on history, hauntings, and a force that refuses to let go of its power.
Liz Lafontant (Killroy Was Here), Brandon Lessard, Devante Winfrey, Baylee Toney, Robert Clohessy (Oz), and Kristina Klebe (Halloween 2007) lead the cast.
Myles Wyatt Clohessy writes and directs the feature, also producing alongside Antony Ware, Ramsey Heitmann, Rob Simmons, and Mike Walsh. Clohessy co-wrote the script with Ware.
Clocking in at 102 minutes, the unrated horror-thriller leans into atmospheric suspense and the unsettling collision of America’s past and present.
