ABC is shifting gears this fall, moving up the highly anticipated premieres of Grey’s Anatomy, 9-1-1, and its latest franchise addition, 9-1-1: Nashville, by one week. Originally slated for October 16, all three drama series will now premiere on Thursday, October 9.
Ryan Murphy’s flagship series 9-1-1 returns for its ninth season at 8 PM, followed by the debut of 9-1-1: Nashville at 9 PM. At 10 PM, Grey’s Anatomy—television’s longest-running medical drama—enters its 22nd season.
The updated move strengthens ABC’s Thursday night lineup with a consistent block of action, drama, and emotional storytelling.
