Aida Osman Joins Will Ferrell’s Untitled Netflix Golf Comedy in Recurring Role

Aida Osman is teeing up her next TV role.

Osman has joined the cast of Untitled Will Ferrell Golf Series, the upcoming 10-episode comedy at Netflix that marks Will Ferrell’s first scripted comedy TV series. She’ll appear in a recurring role as Crystal, Lance’s childhood friend.

The as-yet-untitled series centers on Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins (Ferrell), a fictional golf legend navigating the next chapter of his life — on and off the course. Osman joins a previously announced ensemble that includes Molly Shannon, Jimmy Tatro, Fortune Feimster, Chris Parnell, Katelyn Tarver, David Hornsby, and Luke Wilson. Gabe Hogan has also been added in a recurring role as Jerry, Lance’s personal trainer.

The character breakdown adds texture to the show’s offbeat golf world: Shannon plays Lonnie’s foul-mouthed ex-wife Stacy; Tatro is Lonnie’s son Lance, a gifted pro golfer; Feimster portrays Sam, a new caddie who may be a good-luck charm; Parnell plays Anton, a smug PGA Tour board member; Tarver is Natalie, a social media influencer engaged to Lance; Hornsby portrays Radford, Stacy’s wealthy Southern boyfriend; and Wilson plays a rival golfer who’s beaten Lonnie twice for the tour championship.

Behind the scenes, Ferrell executive produces alongside Jessica Elbaum and Alix Taylor for Gloria Sanchez Productions. Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman, and Nena Rodrigue executive produce for T-Street, with Chris Henchy, Harper Steele, David Gordon Green, and Andrew Guest also on board as executive producers.

No premiere date has been announced yet, but with its stacked comedy lineup and Ferrell stepping into scripted TV territory, this golf-set series is already shaping up to be one to watch.
