Alexandra Shipp and Justice Smith are the latest to join the cast of upcoming holiday horror film White Elephant, adding to a growing ensemble led by Nick Jonas and Kathryn Newton.
Directed by Eli Craig (Clown in a Cornfield, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil), the film continues to build out a stacked cast that also includes KJ Apa, Madeleine Arthur, Josh Brener, and Ashley Park.
Currently in production, White Elephant centers on a holiday tradition turned deadly. Per the official logline: “Eight friends. One prize. Zero trust. Their annual festive holiday gift exchange spirals into a cutthroat game of Christmas carnage.”
The project marks the first film under MRC’s new partnership with Radio Silence and Project X Entertainment—a venture focused on developing horror and thriller titles.
Craig directs from a script by JT Billings, with additional writing from Craig himself. Producers include Jonas, alongside Spencer Berman, William Sherak, Paul Neinstein, James Vanderbilt, Tyler Gillett, and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin.
Blending festive tradition with horror, White Elephant is shaping up to be a chaotic, high-stakes twist on the classic holiday game—just in time for the 2026 holiday season.
