Apple TV has released the trailer for the upcoming third season of its Emmy Award-nominated comedy Shrinking, created by Bill Lawrence, Brett Goldstein, and Jason Segel. Season three premieres globally on Wednesday, January 28, with a one-hour debut episode, followed by new episodes every Wednesday until April 8, 2026.
The heartwarming comedy stars Emmy nominee Jason Segel, multi-award winner Harrison Ford, Emmy nominee Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Christa Miller, Emmy nominee Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley.
Season three also features special guest appearances from Goldstein, Damon Wayans Jr., Wendie Malick, Cobie Smulders, Jeff Daniels, and multi-award winner and Parkinson’s advocate Michael J. Fox.
Shrinking follows Jimmy (Segel), a grieving therapist who begins telling his clients exactly what he thinks—ignoring training and ethics—leading to life-altering consequences for them … and himself. Season three explores the theme of “moving forward”, showing the ensemble navigating new life stages, potential romance, family changes, and ongoing imperfect healing.
Apple TV produces Shrinking in partnership with Warner Bros. Television and Lawrence’s Doozer Productions. This marks the third collaboration for Apple, Lawrence, and Warner Bros., alongside the global phenomenon Ted Lasso and the comedy Bad Monkey.
The first two seasons of Shrinking are available now on Apple TV.
