‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Part 2 Trailer Teases Turmoil, Temptation, & Tough Choices

Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for Bridgerton Season 4, Part 2, previewing the emotional fallout from Benedict Bridgerton’s life-altering proposal and the dangerous crossroads now facing him and Sophie Baek.

The final four episodes debut feb. 26, bringing the fairy-tale romance to a turning point where desire collides head-on with duty, class, and the unforgiving rules of the ton.

Part 1 ended with jaws on the floor after Benedict (Luke Thompson) asked Sophie (Yerin Ha) to become his mistress in the stairwell of Bridgerton House. Rather than answer, Sophie fled — haunted by her past and by the reality of what such an arrangement has meant for women like her.

Now, the new footage makes clear that neither of them will escape the weight of that moment.

Benedict won’t be navigating this alone. Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) returns from India with Kate (Simone Ashley) and wastes no time stepping into big-brother mode, offering pointed guidance about responsibility, reputation, and the realities of choosing love in a world built on hierarchy.

Sophie, meanwhile, finds support in Penwood House footman Alfie (David Moorst), who urges her to open her heart rather than let fear dictate her future.

Whether either of them can follow that advice is another matter.

Elsewhere, Part 2 continues the ripple effects across Mayfair.

Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell) must decide what she truly wants as her connection with Lord Marcus Anderson (Daniel Francis) deepens. Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh) is still weighing her future after being blocked from leaving London, a decision controlled by Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel).

Francesca (Hannah Dodd) continues adjusting to marriage with John Stirling (Victor Alli) just as his cousin Michaela’s arrival threatens to complicate the calm.

And of course, Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) now operates from within the queen’s inner circle, raising one delicious question: what will Lady Whistledown do with even greater access to everyone’s secrets?

Season 4 has followed Benedict’s search for the mysterious Lady in Silver, unaware she is actually Sophie, a resourceful maid under the authority of the formidable Araminta Gun (Katie Leung).

With the truth inching closer to exposure, the romantic fantasy Benedict built in his mind is about to meet the real woman standing in front of him — along with the social consequences that come with loving her openly.

If Part 1 asked whether attraction could bloom, Part 2 asks something far more complicated:

Is love worth losing everything you’ve been raised to protect?

The answer arrives when the final episodes of Bridgerton Season 4 begin streaming feb. 26 on Netflix.
