‘America’s Next Top Model’ Is Getting Another Documentary as E!’s ‘Dirty Rotten Scandals’ Drops Trailer

Just weeks after Netflix reignited the conversation around America’s Next Top Model, E! is stepping in with its own deep dive.

The network has released the trailer for Dirty Rotten Scandals, a new multi-part docuseries examining the cultural impact — and alleged behind-the-scenes controversies — of three pop culture staples: The Dr. Phil Show, America’s Next Top Model, and The Price Is Right.

Notably, ANTM will receive a two-part spotlight within the series.

The news comes as the long-running modeling competition and its creator, Tyra Banks, remain under scrutiny following Netflix’s recently released documentary, Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model. That three-part series revisited controversial challenges, racial insensitivity, body-shaming critiques, and the emotional toll contestants say they experienced — sparking renewed debate across social media.

Now, E!’s Dirty Rotten Scandals adds another layer to that conversation.

March 4 – The Dr. Phil Show

The docuseries premieres March 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT with an episode centered on The Dr. Phil Show. Former guests and employees allege coercive production tactics and blurred lines between therapy and television.

According to the official synopsis, the episode examines how “the promise of televised help may have become a platform for profit and exploitation,” reframing the self-help format through a modern lens.

March 11 – America’s Next Top Model (Two-Part Event)

On March 11, the focus shifts to America’s Next Top Model with two back-to-back episodes beginning at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

The ANTM installments feature interviews with former contestants and insiders who claim the series relied on psychological pressure, exploitative challenges, and emotionally taxing production tactics. Former judge Janice Dickinson appears in the trailer, alleging the show “really tortured these girls,” while Cycle 17 winner Lisa D’Amato describes it as “psychological warfare.”

With Netflix’s documentary already fueling a reassessment of the franchise’s legacy, E!’s two-part event positions ANTM at the center of a broader cultural reckoning around early 2000s reality television.

March 18 – The Price Is Right

The series concludes March 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT with an episode examining The Price Is Right, including its decades-long run under former host Bob Barker.

Former cast and crew members reflect on alleged toxic workplace environments, discrimination claims, and lawsuits tied to the show during a very different era in Hollywood.

A Reality TV Reexamination

Together, the three-part docuseries places some of television’s most recognizable formats under the microscope, revisiting the power structures and production decisions that shaped an era of pop culture.

For millennials especially, these weren’t just shows — they were cultural touchpoints. Now, the narrative is shifting from what aired on screen to what allegedly happened behind it.

Dirty Rotten Scandals premieres March 4 at 9 p.m. ET on E!.
