Dalore Studio Productions and Cue & Coda Films have released the first trailer for Don’t Answer, an upcoming psychological thriller currently in post-production and targeting a Summer 2026 theatrical release.
The film is a tightly contained, single-location thriller that leans into atmosphere and sound rather than spectacle. Set almost entirely inside one house, Don’t Answer follows a woman whose isolation is shattered when the phone begins ringing—and doesn’t stop. With each call, the unseen voice on the other end reveals an unsettling familiarity, blurring the line between memory and manipulation as fear becomes a weapon.
Early in the film’s tension-building spiral, the story introduces a strong ensemble that grounds the psychological unease. The cast includes Trina Lafargue, Demetria McKinney, Claudia Jordan, and Montreal Diggs, each contributing to a narrative driven by vulnerability, control, and the terror of being known too well.
As the calls escalate, it becomes clear the voice isn’t simply watching—it’s closing in. The film transforms ordinary sounds into sources of dread, using silence, repetition, and escalating tension to keep the audience locked inside the protagonist’s experience.
Produced by Juanita Wilson Rodgers, Don’t Answer is presented by Dalore Studio Productions and Cue & Coda Films. The feature runs approximately 80–90 minutes and is positioned as a female-driven psychological experience that prioritizes mood, sound design, and psychological pressure over traditional thriller tropes.
The newly released trailer offers a first look at the film’s restrained yet unnerving tone—where every ring of the phone raises the same question: what happens when you finally pick up?
