Cue & Coda Films — the indie studio behind Twisted Hearts — is venturing into new terrain with Harry Hines, a neo-noir sci-fi crime thriller arriving in theaters February 2026.
The film follows private investigator Dominic Blackwood (Dr. Jay Barnett) and scientist Dr. Sianna Cross (Dawn Halfkenny) as they uncover a string of murders tied to a secretive AI chip capable of altering human behavior.
Directed by Curshion R. Jones and written by Taylor L. Love, the film also stars Adrian Lockett (The Oval) as Tre Palmer and Montreal Diggs (Blue Lights) as Adrian “Blue” Finell.

“Harry Hines is about the human cost of control,” says Jones. “It asks how far we’ll go for justice — and what happens when technology starts to answer that question for us.”
Filmed entirely on Dallas’s legendary Harry Hines Boulevard, the project captures the city’s raw energy and layered identity. Mixing the street-level grit of Training Day with the existential curiosity of Ex Machina, Harry Hines uses its setting as both backdrop and metaphor — a reflection of humanity caught between justice and control.
“Some dates end in roses… others in red,” teases the film’s tagline — an apt warning for a story that blurs the line between passion and peril.
With its blend of style, suspense, and social reflection, Harry Hines positions Cue & Coda Films as a studio unafraid to challenge convention while staying rooted in authenticity.
