Pixar is gearing up for a major 2026 with Hoppers, and today Disney dropped a brand-new trailer and poster for the animated comedy — along with a fresh wave of cast reveals that include Ego Nwodim, Sam Richardson, and Isiah Whitlock Jr.
The film follows Mabel, an animal-loving young adult who uses new technology that allows humans to “hop” their consciousness into lifelike robotic animals. Once she enters the body of a robotic beaver, Mabel discovers an entire underground ecosystem with its own politics, personalities, and mysteries — and quickly realizes the animals are facing a growing threat from a local construction project.
The all-star voice cast now features Meryl Streep, Dave Franco, Kathy Najimy, Eduardo Franco, Melissa Villaseñor, Ego Nwodim, Vanessa Bayer, Sam Richardson, Aparna Nancherla, Nichole Sakura, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Steve Purcell, Karen Huie, and Tom Law, alongside previously announced cast members Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, and Jon Hamm.
Led by writer-director Daniel Chong (We Bare Bears) and producer Nicole Paradis Grindle, Hoppers leans into Chong’s signature mix of humor, heart, and creature chaos. Composer Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok) brings the film’s original score to life.
Pixar positions Hoppers as a big theatrical swing — an energetic, world-building comedy that pushes human-animal communication to delightfully weird places, blending sci-fi tech, environmental stakes, and the kind of emotional arc audiences expect from the studio.
Hoppers opens exclusively in theaters on March 6, 2026.
