‘Emily in Paris’ Heads to Rome in First Look for Season 5 [TRAILER]

Emily in Paris is officially back, and this time, Emily Cooper is taking her ambitions—and her wardrobe—to Italy. Netflix has released the full trailer for Season 5 of the hit Lily Collins-led comedy, which shifts the series’ signature Parisian chaos to the cobblestone charm of Rome ahead of its December 18 premiere.

The new season finds Emily stepping into a major promotion as the head of Agence Grateau Rome. But a new city comes with new challenges. While she arrives eager to build a fresh agency from the ground up, Emily quickly learns that her bold ideas don’t translate quite the same in Italy. Professionally and personally, everything she’s worked for starts to wobble when one of her pitches goes terribly wrong—setting off a chain of heartbreaks and career setbacks.

Trying to regain her balance, Emily leans deeper into the life she’s carved out in France, only for a major secret to shake one of her closest relationships. Season 5 promises plenty of romance, reinvention, and honesty as Emily confronts conflict head-on and emerges with a clearer sense of who she is—and what she wants next.

Lily Collins returns as Emily Cooper, alongside Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie, Ashley Park as Mindy, Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, Samuel Arnold as Julien, Bruno Gouery as Luc, and William Abadie as Antoine. Lucien Laviscount’s Alfie is back as well, joined by Eugenio Franceschini, Thalia Besson, Paul Forman, Arnaud Binard, Minnie Driver, Bryan Greenberg, and Michèle Laroque.

The series was created by Darren Star, who executive produces with Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, Andrew Fleming, Stephen Brown, Alison Brown, Robin Schiff, Grant Sloss, and Joe Murphy. Emily in Paris is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, Darren Star Productions, and Jax Media.
