‘Fallout’ Season 2 Trailer Sends Lucy and The Ghoul to New Vegas

Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for Fallout Season 2 — and it looks like the apocalypse is just getting started.

The new trailer finds Lucy (Ella Purnell) and the Ghoul (Walton Goggins) traveling through the Mojave wasteland on a mission to find her father. “What exactly do you plan on doing once we find your daddy?” the Ghoul asks. “Gonna bring him to justice,” Lucy replies. “So that people know that how they conduct themselves matters. And they don’t give up hope.”

Alongside Purnell and Goggins, Fallout stars Aaron Moten, Leslie Uggams, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Zach Cherry, Frances Turner, and new additions Macaulay Culkin and Kumail Nanjiani.

This season takes viewers beyond the Vaults and into the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas, where danger and chaos rule. The Ghoul — who’s been surviving the wasteland for 200 years — admits he’s kept himself alive for one reason: “To find my family.” But an ominous warning follows — “There’s a war coming.”

The eight-episode second season premieres December 17, 2025, with new episodes released weekly until the February 4, 2026 finale. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner return as showrunners, with Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy executive producing under Kilter Films in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Amazon MGM Studios.

Fallout, based on the hit Bethesda video game series, explores a world of haves and have-nots in a society where there’s almost nothing left to have. Two centuries after the apocalypse, the sheltered citizens of luxury fallout bunkers emerge into a strange, violent, and oddly humorous new world.

Catch up on Fallout Season 1 now on Prime Video — before the wasteland calls again.
