PEOPLE has the exclusive first look at You, Me & Tuscany, the upcoming Universal Pictures romantic comedy starring Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page — a sun-drenched love story set along Italy’s breathtaking Amalfi Coast.
Produced by Will Packer and directed by Kat Coiro, the film marks the duo’s first on-screen pairing in a blend of adventure, chaos, and undeniable chemistry. Universal will release the film in the United States on April 10, 2026.
Bailey leads the film as Anna, a free-spirited young cook who makes a rash choice that changes her life: she secretly moves into an abandoned Tuscan villa owned by a man she barely knows. What starts as a rebellious move quickly spirals into a series of twists involving hidden truths, complicated emotions, and an unexpected connection.
Page plays Michael, a cousin of the villa’s owner, whose arrival forces Anna to confront the consequences of her decision — and her growing feelings.
The cast also includes Aziza Scott, Marco Calvani, and Lorenzo De Moor, rounding out a warm ensemble that brings both charm and humor to the Italian-set story.
The film first made headlines in March 2025 when it was announced under the working title Italianna, with Coiro attached to direct. As the project evolved — and as its themes of reinvention, risk-taking, and romantic escapism took shape — the film was retitled You, Me & Tuscany to reflect its sweeping, character-driven story.
Filming took place on the Amalfi Coast and across Tuscany, immersing the cast in one of the most cinematic regions in the world. The landscape plays a major role in the story — from cliffside views to intimate kitchens to winding coastal roads — creating a dreamlike atmosphere that mirrors Anna’s emotional journey.
With its gorgeous setting, irresistible premise, and two of Hollywood’s most charismatic young stars, You, Me & Tuscany is shaping up to be a must-see romantic escape for spring 2026.
