HBO has released new first-look images from Euphoria Season 3, following a recent teaser of early footage. The images offer fans a closer look at the characters as the series returns after more than four years.
Zendaya’s Rue Bennett appears contemplative, seated in what looks like a church pew, while Sydney Sweeney’s Cassie Howard holds a melting ice cream cone. Jacob Elordi’s Nate Jacobs is seen working in a kitchen with raw meat, and Maude Apatow (Lexi Howard), Alexa Demie (Maddy Perez), and Hunter Schafer (Jules Vaughn) also feature in the shots, hinting at the new dynamics of the show.

Season 3 brings back familiar faces including Alanna Ubach, Daeg Faerch, Dominic Fike, Melvin “Bonez” Estes, Nika King, Paula Marshall, Sophia Rose Wilson, and Zak Steiner. Where the Characters Are Now
Season 3 takes a bold step with a five-year time jump, bringing the characters into adulthood:
- Rue (Zendaya): Living in Mexico, in debt to Laurie, finding creative ways to pay it off.
- Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) & Nate (Jacob Elordi): Engaged and living in the suburbs, with their wedding promised to be “unforgettable.”
- Jules (Hunter Schafer): Attending art school, contemplating her future.
- Maddy (Alexa Demie): Working at a Hollywood talent agency while juggling multiple side hustles.
- Lexi (Maude Apatow): Serving as an assistant to a showrunner played by Sharon Stone.
Behind the Scenes
Created, written, and directed by Sam Levinson, Euphoria is produced by A24 with executive producers including Kevin Turen, Ravi Nandan, Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, Zendaya, and Will Greenfield. Production on the eight-episode season wrapped last month, setting the stage for an April 2026 premiere.
With 25 Emmy nominations and nine wins over its first two seasons—including two wins for Zendaya and one for Colman Domingo—Euphoria has cemented itself as a cultural phenomenon and one of HBO’s most-watched series outside of its fantasy titles. Francesca Orsi of HBO hinted this could be the show’s final chapter, promising that Season 3 will bring every character’s story “to a satisfying close.”
