Prime Video has unveiled the first poster for Tyler Perry’s Finding Joy, marking his return to holiday films after more than a decade. The romantic comedy premieres globally on November 5, 2025, and is Perry’s first holiday project since A Madea Christmas in 2013.
The poster centers Shannon Thornton (P-Valley), who takes on her first lead role in a holiday romance. With a snow-covered backdrop and festive details, the visual teases Perry’s blend of warmth, humor, and drama.
Finding Joy follows Thornton as Joy, a New York fashion designer whose creativity is overshadowed by her boss and whose love life has been just as discouraging. Pushed by her friends Ashley (Brittany S. Hall) and Littia (Inayah), Joy sets her sights on Colton (Aaron O’Connell) and heads to Colorado in search of holiday magic. Instead, a revelation and a snowstorm leave her stranded. At her lowest moment, she meets Ridge (Tosin Morohunfola), a chance encounter that reshapes her outlook on life and love.
The cast also features Eric Stanton Betts, Natalie O’Connell, Jeffery Thomas Johnson, and Whitney Goin. Perry leads the project as writer, director, and producer, with Angi Bones and Will Areu also producing.
With its mix of romance, friendship, and self-discovery, Finding Joy is set to stand out as one of Prime Video’s holiday highlights this season.
