The holiday season just got a little messier — in the best way possible.
Maurice Hall and Tony L. Patterson have dropped the first look images from their upcoming indie holiday dramedy #WorstChristmasEver, and they’re giving fans a peek into the chaotic, heartfelt story heading to screens soon.
The film stars B.J. Britt (The Groomsmen Last Dance) as Billy Turner, a recently divorced father reluctantly spending the holidays with his kids, ex-wife (Shanti Lowry, The Game), and her new fiancé (played by Hall). What starts as a stress-filled trip quickly spirals into emotional mayhem, surprise romance, and some good old-fashioned holiday drama.
The ensemble cast includes Taja V. Simpson (The Oval), Tamala Jones (Ordinary Angels), Bill Bellamy (Bel-Air), Tyler Lofton (The Pitt), Mo Ashley (All American: Homecoming), Carl McDowell (Ballers), and René Ashton (The Man in the Guesthouse).
Written and directed by Hall and Patterson, #WorstChristmasEver explores family, forgiveness, and the unexpected turns love can take—especially when you’re just trying to survive the holidays.
Produced by Mo-tivation Unlimited, PattersonHouse Productions, and Simpson & McGowan Studios, the project promises a blend of laugh-out-loud moments and touching reminders of what really matters when the wrapping paper comes off.
Take a look at the first images below and get ready — because Christmas dinner might not go as planned.
