Ghostface Killah Lends Voice in CG-Animated Short Film ‘Enormous’

Wu-Tang Clan rapper Ghostface Killah is stepping into the animation world, joining the voice cast of Enormous, a CG-animated short officially greenlit by India’s Digitoonz Animation Studio.

Ghostface lends his voice alongside Tony Hale (Veep, Toy Story 4), Ming-Na Wen (The Mandalorian, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Mel Brooks, and Spencer Grammer in the heartfelt comedy from creator Stephen Kramer Glickman (Big Time Rush, Storks).

Directed by Oscar-nominated animator Doug Sweetland (Presto, Toy Story, Finding Nemo), Enormous tells the story of Stephen, a man crushed after a breakup, who sinks into depression until his pug, Jelly Donut, finds an unexpected way to help him rediscover joy. The short is inspired by Glickman’s personal journey of overcoming depression with the love of his dog.

“Music has always been about truth and survival for me, and Enormous tells that same kind of real story, but in animation,” Ghostface said.

Hale added the role was “an easy yes,” praising Glickman’s balance of heart and humor, while Wen called the story “visually impactful” and filled with love, heartbreak, and hope. Brooks also shared that he “immediately said yes” when approached to join the project.

Enormous will make its industry debut at MIPCOM this October, with Cookbook Media’s Claudia Scott-Hansen shopping it to buyers. The short has also been invited to screen at the ANIMAYO International Animation Festival in the Canary Islands in 2026.

Produced by Jackson Lewis (Storks), with art direction by Sylvain Deboissy (How to Train Your Dragon), the project’s crew also includes editor Chris Cartagena (Space Jam: A New Legacy) and Director of Photography Cortney Armitage (The Incredibles).

Executive producers include Glickman, Scott-Hansen, Sweetland, Kevin Salter, Carlos Gaxiola, Vikas Kumar, Alexandra Rosenberg, Mantosh Kumar, Damián Perea Lezcano, and Raquel Camacho Marrero.
