Four-time NBA Champion Horace Grant is taking his legacy beyond the court with Legends in Session with Horace Grant, a new television series currently filming in Chicago.
The one-hour series will span 13 episodes in its inaugural season and centers on in-depth conversations with some of the most influential figures across sports and culture. Rooted in storytelling, reflection, and community impact, the show offers a more personal look at the journeys behind the accolades.
Filming in Chicago is a full-circle moment for Grant, who became a foundational part of the Chicago Bulls dynasty during the franchise’s first three-peat in the early ’90s. The city’s history and Grant’s own legacy are woven into the DNA of the series, grounding the conversations in a place that shaped both his career and the culture of the game.
Each episode follows a basketball-inspired structure, using the rhythm of a game to guide discussions around defining moments, hard-earned lessons, and life after peak success. In addition to the conversations, the series incorporates a built-in giving-back element, with memorabilia auctions tied to charitable causes selected by each guest.
The first season is expected to feature a mix of Grant’s former teammates, rivals, and respected peers, including Scottie Pippen, Gary Payton, Penny Hardaway, Phil Jackson, Charles Oakley, and Robert Horry, among others.
Legends in Session is executive produced by Urban Grind TV and is currently filming at Urban Grind Studios. The series is set to air on Chicago cable before expanding nationally and internationally across cable and streaming platforms, including Roku and Apple TV, with a planned mid-2026 premiere.
Grant, a four-time NBA Champion whose career spans championship runs with the Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers, positions the series as more than a traditional interview show—one focused on honoring legacy while creating space for honesty, humor, and perspective.
