Huncho Henderson is set to star in and write the upcoming comedy feature Weekend Security, with filmmaker Eboni Price attached to direct.
Weekend Security centers on two under-qualified security guards who are unexpectedly tasked with protecting a billionaire’s daughter during her 21st birthday weekend. What begins as a straightforward security job escalates as the pair navigates a series of complications tied to the event and their own lack of experience.
The project is currently in pre-production.
Production is slated to begin in 2026. Casting for additional principal roles, including the billionaire’s daughter and the second security guard, is currently underway.
Price is a director, writer, and producer based in Los Angeles. Her previous directing work includes short films Hard, 24 Hours, and Blaque, as well as the web series #Adulting. She has also directed the mini-series Black Love and U.G.L.Y.: The Visual Album. Price has worked as a director’s shadow on Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story and is a graduate of Netflix’s Original Series Director Program.
