Meagan Good Stars in Seductive Lifetime Thriller ‘I’ll Never Let You Go’ [TRAILER]

Lifetime is turning up the heat this summer with I’ll Never Let You Go, a seductive new thriller starring and executive produced by Meagan Good. The film premieres Saturday, August 16 at 8/7c, check out the trailer below.

Good stars as Emily Westover, a successful art gallery director whose world unravels after a moment of weakness spirals into a full-blown nightmare. Struggling with loneliness after sending her daughter Sophia (Hana Destiny Huggins) off to college, Emily tries to rekindle her marriage with Tom (Thomas Cadrot). But when intimacy doesn’t come easily, she slips into a passionate affair with Carlo (Antonio Cupo), a brooding Italian artist whose magnetic charm masks something far more dangerous.

When Emily tries to end things, Carlo refuses to let go. What was once a fleeting escape becomes an escalating threat as Carlo exposes their secret, torpedoes her personal and professional life, and forces Emily into a chilling confrontation that could cost her everything.

Directed by Troy Scott and written by Alex Wright, I’ll Never Let You Go is produced by Bruce Harvey for CMW Autumn Productions Inc., in association with Studio TF1 America. Good and Joey Plager serve as executive producers.

The film also marks another powerful entry in Meagan Good’s growing partnership with Lifetime. She previously starred in and produced Death Saved My Life (2021) and Buying Back My Daughter (2023), both part of the network’s Ripped from the Headlines collection. Most recently, she appeared in Terry McMillan Presents: Forever opposite Taye Diggs.

Outside of Lifetime, Good just wrapped a three-season run leading Prime Video’s Harlem, further showcasing her range as a multifaceted storyteller. With I’ll Never Let You Go, she steps into darker territory, portraying a woman forced to confront betrayal, obsession, and the cost of protecting what matters most.
