‘Industry’ Sets Season 4 Premiere Date — HBO Drops First Teaser for the High-Stakes Finance Drama

HBO is officially bringing the heat back to Sunday nights. Industry will return for its highly anticipated fourth season on Sunday, January 11, 2026, reclaiming its 9 p.m. slot and streaming simultaneously on HBO Max. The network announced the date with a moody new teaser set to Nina Simone’s “Lilac Wine,” teasing another round of ambition, betrayal, and messy power plays in London’s finance scene.

The eight-episode season will roll out weekly.

Season 4 picks up with Harper (Myha’la) and Yasmin (Marisa Abela)—now Pierpoint graduates and arguably at the height of their careers—pulled into a new wave of temptation, risk, and dangerous alliances. HBO describes the season as a “high-stakes, globetrotting cat-and-mouse game,” ignited by a “splashy fintech darling” shaking up the London market.

As Yasmin deepens her complicated relationship with tech founder Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington) and Harper falls into the gravitational pull of elusive executive Whitney Halberstram (Max Minghella), the duo’s already twisted friendship begins to fracture under money, power, and the relentless pressure to dominate.

Returning and New Faces

Alongside Myha’la and Abela, returning cast members include Ken Leung, Miriam Petche, Sagar Radia, Roger Barclay, and Andrew Havill.

Season 4 also welcomes a packed slate of new characters played by Max Minghella, Toheeb Jimoh, Charlie Heaton, Amy James-Kelly, Kiernan Shipka, Kal Penn, Jack Farthing, Stephen Campbell Moore, Claire Forlani, and Edward Holcroft.

One notable absence: Harry Lawtey, whose character Rob will not return after closing out season three with a pivotal exit.

Where Season 3 Left Off

Season 3 ended in pure Industry fashion—explosive, chaotic, and deeply personal.

  • Rishi (Radia) faced devastating consequences after defaulting on his debt to violent loan sharks.
  • Yasmin accepted Henry’s proposal but shared a final, ill-advised moment with Rob.
  • Harper positioned herself for a stateside climb, eyeing New York with a new fund backed by Otto (Barclay).

The series has only grown more acclaimed, with season three earning a Critics Choice nomination for Best Drama Series and a significant bump in viewership.

Created, written, and executive produced by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, Industry continues its partnership between Bad Wolf and HBO/BBC. Season four directors include Down, Kay, Michelle Savill, and Luke Snellin.
