Iyanla Vanzant is returning to OWN—this time with a deeper lens on the moments that moved millions. The network has announced Iyanla: The Inside Fix, a new series premiering Saturday, January 17 at 8pm ET/PT, revisiting twelve of the most memorable episodes from Iyanla: Fix My Life with fresh perspective and renewed insight.
For nearly a decade, Iyanla: Fix My Life sparked national conversations around trauma, family wounds, accountability, and emotional growth. The series featured everyday people and well-known guests including Shereé Whitfield, Karrueche Tran, Evelyn Lozada, and many others who opened their lives for transformation. The honesty, discomfort, and breakthroughs the show inspired became part of its cultural impact.
Iyanla: The Inside Fix returns to some of those defining moments—including the explosive Six Brown Chicks confrontation in “Fix My Backstabbing Friends” and the emotional reckoning in “Fix My Broken Mother.” But rather than just a retrospective, the new series examines how our challenges—and our healing—have shifted in today’s world. With Iyanla guiding viewers through updated reflection, the show explores how the lessons from these journeys still resonate.
“There has never been a better time for us to bring the iconic Iyanla Vanzant back home to the OWN Network,” said Tina Perry, President of OWN. “In a world that needs more light, Iyanla’s voice and presence in this show provides a safe space where viewers can find the guidance, inspiration, and honest reflection needed to spark their own personal healing and growth.”
Vanzant adds that the new series is designed to go even further. “Iyanla: The Inside Fix is a deepening. Where Fix My Life invited us to confront the pain that shaped us, The Inside Fix invites us to meet the truths that can free us. In a time when the world feels increasingly disconnected, we need to return to what matters—truth, empathy, and self-awareness.”
As the series unfolds, viewers will see how personal transformation evolves over time and why healing is not a one-time event, but an ongoing process. Iyanla: The Inside Fix serves as a reminder that growth is possible at any stage, and that coming back to oneself is always worth the work.
Produced by Bunim/Murray Productions for OWN, the series invites audiences to join the conversation using #TheInsideFix and follow OWN across social platforms for exclusive content.
