Peacock’s Bel-Air is closing out its fourth and final season with two powerful guest stars joining the Banks family’s world. Janet Hubert — the original Aunt Viv from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air — will appear in the reimagined drama, marking the sixth original cast member to make an appearance. Caroline Chikezie (Mayhem, Everly) also joins as a guest star, appearing opposite her real-life husband Adrian Holmes, who portrays Uncle Phil.
Season 4 premieres Monday, November 24 on Peacock.
Inspired by Morgan Cooper’s viral short that reimagined the beloved ’90s sitcom, Bel-Air takes a dramatic and emotionally grounded approach to Will’s story — exploring his journey from West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air through a modern lens of class, identity, and belonging.
In its final season, Will (Jabari Banks) juggles the thrill of senior year with the expectations that have shaped his life so far. Carlton (Olly Sholotan) faces the consequences of his biggest choices yet, while the brotherhood between Phil (Adrian Holmes) and Geoffrey (Jimmy Akingbola) is tested by a power shift that forces both men to reconsider their loyalty.
Viv (April Parker Jones) begins to reinvent herself beyond motherhood, Hilary (Coco Jones) embarks on a new chapter of self-discovery, and Ashley (Akira Akbar) experiences the growing pains of freshman year — realizing the status quo may no longer serve her.
Hubert, who made television history as the first Aunt Viv, will portray a new character — a wise and grounding presence who crosses paths with Hilary and becomes instrumental to the Banks family’s story. Chikezie takes on the role of Dominique Warren, the leader of Geoffrey’s former London gang and a woman he considers like a sister — a dynamic that’s sure to stir up tension as old ties resurface.
Hubert joins the growing list of Fresh Prince alums who’ve stepped into Bel-Air’s reimagined world. Daphne Maxwell Reid (Aunt Viv #2) and Vernee Watson-Johnson (Vy Smith) appeared in Season 1, Tatyana Ali (Ashley Banks) played Mrs. Hughes in Season 2, and Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey) made his appearance in Season 3. Tyra Banks has also been confirmed to guest star this season.
Bel-Air is led by showrunner, writer, and executive producer Carla Banks Waddles. Executive producers include Morgan Cooper, Will Smith, Terence Carter, James Lassiter, Miguel Melendez, Benny Medina, Quincy Jones, and Andy and Susan Borowitz.
The season’s directors include Nick Copus (Episodes 401–402), Keesha Sharp (403–404), Tina Mabry (405–406), and Morgan Cooper (407–408).
The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Westbrook Studios.
