Jordan Peele is Keeping Everyone in the Dark About His Next Horror Film [VIDEO]

Jordan Peele is keeping details about his next horror movie tightly under wraps, fueling even more anticipation. During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Peele stayed mum despite Fallon’s best attempts to extract information. Peele playfully responded, “Let the mystery swirl. You’re not getting anything out of me tonight, Jimmy!”

With no plot, cast, or production details revealed, Peele’s upcoming film, set to release in 2026, is already one of the most anticipated horror projects on the horizon. He continued to tease the audience, saying, “What could it be? Where could it be? Who could it be? We know when. I’m gonna keep everybody in painful suspense. Trust me, it’ll pay off.”

Originally slated for a December 2023 release, the film was delayed due to the Hollywood strikes and is now set to premiere on October 23, 2026.

Ahead of this mysterious project, fans of psychological horror and Peele’s work have another film to look forward to. Universal Pictures and Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions recently announced the release of Him, a psychological horror film set in the world of football. The movie, previously titled GOAT, will hit theaters on September 19, 2025. Directed by Justin Tipping, Him stars Marlon Wayans as an aging quarterback mentoring a young rising star played by Tyriq Withers. As the story unfolds at a secluded compound, tensions rise, and dark twists emerge.

The film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Julia Fox, Tim Heidecker, Jim Jefferies, and hip-hop artists Guapdad 4000 and Tierra Whack, both making their feature film debuts. The screenplay, written by Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie of Limetown fame, explores themes of fame, power, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.

Him marks another collaboration between Peele and Universal, building on the success of his previous horror hits like Get Out, Us, Candyman, and Nope. This latest project is set to be a chilling addition to Peele’s growing legacy in the horror genre, exploring psychological depths and social commentary.

As fans await the September 2025 release of Him, they’ll also be holding their breath for more clues about Peele’s 2026 horror film. Until then, it seems audiences will be left in the “painful suspense” Peele has promised.
