Kevin “KevOnStage” Fredericks is keeping his foot on the gas. The comedian, producer, and now two-time New York Times bestselling author has inked a new deal with Fuse Media to bring his creator-led content under their umbrella.
Now launched, Fredericks will headline Fuse’s creator-led initiative with a slate of original, culturally driven programming across Fuse Media’s platforms, including its subscription streaming service, Fuse+.
As part of the collaboration, Fuse+ subscribers will get access to KevOnStage’s full slate of shows from @kevonstagestudios, including Coming to the Stage, Crafts & Cocktails, Black Card Off Layaway, A Workplace Comedy, Black People Don’t Do Improv, That’s Cap, and What’s Good?! — all streaming exclusively on Fuse+. He confirmed the move with a post writing, “@kevonstagestudios streaming content has been acquired by @fusetv watch all your favorite shows now! LINK IN MY BIO!”
And that’s just on with Fuse Media. Over at BET+, Fredericks is leading not one but two scripted projects: Churchy — currently in its second season — and the workplace comedy The Hospital.
He’s also been making waves in publishing. Fredericks’ latest book, Successful Failure, just debuted at No. 13 on The New York Times Hardcover Nonfiction Best Sellers list, marking his second time landing on the prestigious chart.
With credits that span HBO Max’s A Black Lady Sketch Show, Amazon Prime’s Black Love, Facebook Watch’s Dads Just Don’t Understand, and even producing Will Smith’s Snapchat series Will From Home, KevOnStage is proving that he’s more than just a funny voice — he’s building an empire.
Bottom line? KevOnStage is booked, busy, and showing us exactly what building impact looks like.
