King Bach Joins Growing Cast of Holiday Action Sequel ‘Violent Night 2’

Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor is suiting up for the holidays. The actor, comedian, and social media star has officially joined the cast of Violent Night 2, the upcoming sequel to Universal Pictures and 87North’s cult action hit.

He’ll star opposite David Harbour, who returns as the not-so-jolly Santa Claus, along with Kristen Bell, Daniela Melchior, Jared Harris, Joe Pantoliano, and AEW wrestling superstar Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF). Tommy Wirkola is back in the director’s chair, working from a screenplay by Pat Casey and Josh Miller, who also serve as executive producers.

Universal will release the sequel on Wednesday, December 4, 2026.

The first Violent Night (2022) turned out to be one of the most surprising holiday sensations in recent memory. With its blend of bloody action, dark comedy, and Christmas cheer, the film grossed over $75 million worldwide on a modest budget and became a favorite among fans of offbeat holiday classics. The story followed an embittered, battle-worn Santa (Harbour) who channels his centuries-old combat skills to fight off mercenaries holding a family hostage on Christmas Eve.

Now, Harbour’s Santa is back — meaner, tougher, and ready for another round of yuletide carnage. While plot details are being kept under wraps, the ensemble cast promises a bigger, bolder sequel.

Violent Night 2 is produced by 87North founders Kelly McCormick and David Leitch, with Universal executives Matt Reilly and Tony Ducret overseeing.
