Comedian and social media star Kountry Wayne is heading back to the stage with a brand-new stand-up special, Nostalgia, set to premiere March 23, 2026 on Prime Video.
The one-hour special finds Wayne leaning into the spirit of classic ‘90s comedy — delivering a style that echoes the raw, high-energy feel of the Def Comedy Jam era while still maintaining the clean, family-friendly approach that has helped define his stand-up.
In Nostalgia, Wayne blends humor with reflection, touching on topics like fatherhood, relationships, love, and family life. The special aims to capture the authenticity and edge of old-school comedy while offering moments that are both insightful and relatable — all without relying on profanity.
The new special follows Wayne’s 2023 debut A Woman’s Prayer, which premiered at No. 1 on Netflix and has generated more than 5.2 million views, according to the streamer’s What We Watched reports. That success helped cement Wayne’s transition from viral internet personality to a major force in stand-up comedy.
Wayne’s rise has been fueled in large part by his massive digital presence. Across social platforms, the comedian — whose real name is DeWayne Colley — has amassed more than 18 million followers and over 1.2 billion views on Facebook through his viral sketch comedy videos.
Beyond stand-up, Wayne has also expanded into television and film. He appeared in the adventure series Time Bandits, created by Taika Waititi for Apple TV+, and recently wrapped production on the indie comedy That’s Her, which he co-wrote, produced, and stars in.
In 2023, Wayne also released his first book, Help Is On the Way: Stay Up and Live Your Truth, a blend of humor and self-help that shares lessons on perseverance, faith, and staying motivated.
Currently, Wayne is traveling across the country on his nationwide Workout Tour, bringing his stand-up to audiences nationwide while continuing to grow his profile across comedy, entertainment, and digital media.
