Kyle Scott’s Action-Comedy ‘Boyz Trip’ Adds Six as Filming Continues in South Africa

The upcoming action-comedy Boyz Trip is adding even more global talent to its growing ensemble.

Ama Qamata (Blood & Water), Thapelo Mokoena (Blood & Water), Bohang Moeko (Isono), Ama K. Abebrese (Beasts of No Nation), Alessandra Fuller (Green River Killer), and Francisca Aronsson (Perra Vida) have officially joined the cast as production continues in Cape Town, South Africa.

They join a previously announced lineup led by Rome Flynn, Algee Smith, Desi Banks, and Siv Ngesi.

At the center of Boyz Trip is a group of four college friends looking to break out of their routine with a getaway. But what starts as a fun escape quickly spirals into international chaos—forcing them to lean on their friendship, instincts, and luck to survive.

The film blends action and comedy with a global backdrop, positioning itself as a high-energy story rooted in brotherhood and unpredictability.

Boyz Trip is written and directed by Kyle Scott, who also serves as an executive producer through his banner KeyScott Entertainment alongside Canyon View Media.

Autumn Bailey-Ford produces under Autumn Bailey Entertainment.

Speaking on the project, Scott emphasized the film’s global vision, calling it “an incredible opportunity to unite a diverse international cast and create something truly special together.”

Bailey-Ford echoed that sentiment, highlighting the energy this cast brings and the added layer of shooting in South Africa, which grounds the story in a unique and vibrant setting.

Filming is currently underway on location in Cape Town, continuing a growing trend of international productions tapping into South Africa’s landscape and talent pool.
