Disney’s Andscape has unveiled the trailer for Stay, a new supernatural thriller starring Mo McRae and Megalyn Echikunwoke, set to stream on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ on October 8, 2025, just in time for Huluween.
Directed and written by Jas Summers, Stay centers on Kiara (Echikunwoke), a PhD author specializing in African spirituality, and Miles (McRae), a former MMA fighter. As the couple faces the breakdown of their marriage, they find themselves forced to put aside their differences when terrifying supernatural forces invade their home. What begins as a story of separation quickly escalates into a fight for survival, where the only path forward lies in confronting their darkest fears with courage and love.
The film will lead Hulu’s annual Huluween lineup and is also slated to screen at the New Orleans Film Festival on October 25th.
Behind the Scenes
Alongside Summers’ direction and screenplay, Stay is produced by Jared Hoffman, p.g.a., Lex Scott Davis, Garrett Thompson, and Mo McRae. Echikunwoke also serves as an executive producer with Zak Kristofek. Cinematography is handled by John Rosario.
