Moses Ingram, Naturi Naughton , Brett Gray, and b have been tapped to headline the BET-backed Soirée Fall Monologue Slam, taking place November 10th at City Tech in Brooklyn, New York.
Now in its latest installment, the Monologue Slam has become one of the biggest recurring events for the BIPOC arts community. What began as a New York showcase has evolved into a cultural platform that amplifies Black and brown artistry nationwide — even expanding to Los Angeles last year.
This year marks a milestone as Soul Soirée teams up with BET, the world’s leading media company dedicated to Black culture and storytelling. The partnership represents Soul Soirée’s first-ever corporate sponsorship, merging two cultural powerhouses to elevate the Monologue Slam’s visibility and impact.
“We are incredibly excited about this partnership,” said Soul Soirée Co-Founder Chi Mancho. “For decades, BET has shaped culture by giving voice to Black creators and audiences globally. Soul Soirée is driven by that same commitment, and this partnership will elevate The Monologue Slam experience while giving our artists an even bigger stage.”
Fellow co-founders Shomari Love and Mister Fitzgerald echoed Mancho’s sentiments, sharing their gratitude for BET’s support in amplifying rising artists and providing a space to showcase their craft.
Unlike a traditional competition, The Monologue Slam serves as both a stage for artistry and a celebration of culture — a live theatrical experience that centers authentic performances, underrepresented voices, and community connection.

The event is produced by actors and Soirée co-founders Mister Fitzgerald, Chi Mancho, and Shomari Love. Previous slams have spotlighted standout performances from Dominique Thorne (Ironheart), Jerrie Johnson (Harlem), Patrick Walker (Doc), and Lisa Arrindell (Madea’s Family Reunion).
