Nicholas Duvernay (The White Lotus, Bel-Air) is starring in Mindy Kaling’s upcoming Hulu comedy Not Suitable for Work.
The series follows five ambitious twenty-somethings chasing professional success — and maybe personal happiness — in Manhattan’s Murray Hill. Duvernay plays Kel Washington, a charming but slightly anxious medical student struggling to balance exams while quietly pursuing his dream of becoming an actor.
The Ensemble
Alongside Duvernay, the series also stars:
- Ella Hunt as AJ Pascarelli, a sharp and intense first-year analyst at New York’s top investment bank.
- Avantika as Abhinaya “Abby” Chilukuri, a savvy, fashion-obsessed assistant to a demanding celebrity stylist.
- Will Angus as Davis Beau Bradley Barrett III, a high-energy finance bro hiding a longing for love beneath his fratty exterior.
- Jack Martin as Josh Teitelbaum, an idealistic New Yorker who loves to remind everyone he’s homegrown.
