ALLBLK has released the official trailer for Wild Rose, its upcoming action drama starring and executive produced by Omarion — and the first look makes it clear the series is aiming high.
Created by Deji LaRay, Wild Rose premieres March 12 and centers on a man trained to kill who suddenly finds himself questioning everything. The eight-episode also stars Vanessa Estelle Williams, Casey Gardner, Keraun Harris, Allen Payne, O’Ryan and more.
Omarion plays Roosevelt, known as Rose, a charismatic hitman with a conscience who comes from a family of assassins operating under the cover of a nonprofit organization. Behind the charitable façade is an elite agency responsible for taking down high-profile targets.
Rose’s life fractures when his wife and daughter mysteriously walk away from him. Suspecting foul play, he begins to look inward — at his family, their operation, and the role he has played in it. The deeper he digs, the more dangerous the truth becomes. At the same time, he’s assigned to protect a world-famous singer named Somaya. But the mission quickly twists: the person hired to keep her safe may also be contracted to end her life.
Personal crisis meets professional chaos, and Rose is forced to decide who he really is when loyalty and survival no longer align.
Omarion executive produces alongside Michelle Le Fleur and LaRay for Omarion Worldwide LLC. ALLBLK’s Brett Dismuke, Nikki Love, and Kate Farrell also executive produce, while Dale S. Lewis and Erik White direct.
LaRay previously created Johnson and G.R.I.T.S., projects known for their focus on nuanced relationships and community. With Wild Rose, he pivots into action territory while keeping character and emotional stakes front and center.
Wild Rose debuts March 12 exclusively on ALLBLK.
