Apple TV+ Returns to Palm Beach in ‘Palm Royale’ Season 2 [FIRST LOOK]

Apple TV+ is heading back to Palm Beach this fall as Palm Royale officially returns for its second season. The Emmy-nominated comedy, led by Kristen Wiig, will premiere Wednesday, November 12, with new episodes rolling out weekly through January 14, 2026.

Season 2 picks up after Maxine (Wiig) suffers a scandalous public breakdown that leaves her branded a social pariah. But she’s not one to bow out quietly. According to the official logline, Maxine “will have to draw on her deep well of cleverness and cunning to prove once and for all that not only does she belong — but she just might have what it takes to rule this town.” Along the way, she’ll unearth secrets, lies, and even the occasional felony that define Palm Beach’s elite.

The series also teases answers about Ricky Martin’s Robert, who was left bloodied at the gala after a bullet meant for Nixon struck him in the season one finale.

Returning cast members include Laura Dern, Amber Chardae Robinson, Allison Janney, Carol Burnett, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Julia Duffy, Mindy Cohn, and Kaia Gerber. Creator Abe Sylvia promises season two will “double down” on everything that made the first season a hit — with bigger twists, higher stakes, and plenty of gasps.

Palm Royale received 11 Emmy nominations in 2024, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy for Wiig, and Outstanding Supporting Actress for Burnett.

Written, executive produced, and showrun by Sylvia for Aunt Sylvia’s Moving Picture Company, the series also counts Dern, Wiig, Jayme Lemons, and Katie O’Connell Marsh among its executive producers.

The fight for Palm Beach’s crown resumes November 12 on Apple TV+.
