‘Palm Royale’ Season 2 Trailer is Full of Chaos, a Murder Investigation and a Sleazy Lawyer

Palm Beach’s most chaotic social climber is back — and this time, she might be in serious trouble.

Apple TV has unveiled the trailer for Season 2 of Palm Royale, and it teases a whole new level of scandal, ambition, and chaos when the Emmy-nominated comedy returns Wednesday, November 12, with new episodes weekly through January 14, 2026.

In the new footage, Kristen Wiig’s Maxine Dellacorte finds herself under police suspicion for murder. Luckily, John Stamos swoops in as her slick, questionable lawyer Dr. Dusty Magic, defending her with one of the trailer’s best lines:

“You have held this woman for three days without any due cause or proof — no body, no death, no murder!”
To which Maxine chimes in, “That’s what I just said!”

Stamos’ character isn’t the only new face shaking up Palm Beach. Patti LuPone makes a memorable entrance in a black studded hat and jacket, declaring, “There’s nothing more arousing than having people over a barrel.” The upcoming season also welcomes Vicki Lawrence — reuniting with Carol Burnett decades after The Carol Burnett Show — and Matt Rogers (Fire Island, Glamorous).

Returning cast members include Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Ricky Martin, Carol Burnett, Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinson, Mindy Cohn, Julia Duffy, and Kaia Gerber, alongside newcomers Claudia Ferri, Jason Canela, Jordan Bridges, James Urbaniak, Roberto Sanchez, Rick Cosnett, and Ryan Dorsey.

Season 2 picks up after Maxine’s dramatic breakdown in last year’s finale, where she learned her husband Douglas (played by Josh Lucas) was having an affair with Kaia Gerber’s Mitzi — and got her pregnant. Now, she’s a pariah in Palm Beach high society, forced to use her trademark cunning and charm to claw her way back to the top.

According to the official logline, “She’ll have to draw on her deep well of cleverness and cunning to prove, once and for all, that not only does she belong, but she just might have what it takes to rule this town. Along the way she will uncover untold truths and finally understand what this town is truly built on … secrets, lies, and the occasional felony.”

Created, written, and executive produced by Abe Sylvia for Aunt Sylvia’s Moving Picture Company, Palm Royale is produced by Apple Studios with executive producers Dern and Jayme Lemons (Jaywalker Pictures), Wiig, and Katie O’Connell Marsh.

As Leslie Bibb dramatically declares in the trailer, “We can’t trust the powers that be to protect us — we have to be the powers that be.”

Welcome back to Palm Royale, where the off-season is deadly — and the tea is always served hot.
