Paramount+ Drops Trailer for ‘Tulsa King’ Season 3 Featuring Samuel L. Jackson’s Debut

Paramount+ has dropped the official trailer for Tulsa King season three, and it ends with a major reveal — the arrival of Samuel L. Jackson in the Sylvester Stallone-led series. The hit mob drama returns to the streamer on September 21.

The trailer teases the next chapter for Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone), whose growing empire continues to attract dangerous enemies. We see Robert Patrick introduced as Jeremiah Dunmire, a powerful old-money rival who warns Dwight: “I am obligated to destroy everything you have built and everyone you love.” Kevin Pollak also makes his debut as Special Agent Musso, who seems determined to pull Dwight under federal control.

Familiar foes like Cal Thresher (Neal McDonough) and Bill Bevilaqua (Frank Grillo) resurface, while Bodhi (Martin Starr) and Tyson (Jay Will) provide comic relief — including a Cybertruck sight gag that questions just how undercover their crew can be.

But the real headline is the trailer’s final scene: Dwight face-to-face with Russell Lee Washington Jr., played by Jackson. When Dwight asks, “Is that a ghost?” Russell coolly responds, “A lot of ghosts? Well, I bet ain’t nobody seen that coming.”

Jackson’s role marks his first entry into Taylor Sheridan’s ever-expanding universe. His character is set to return in the upcoming spinoff NOLA King, which will follow Russell to New Orleans.

Alongside Stallone and Jackson, season three also features Annabella Sciorra, Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcote, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, Vincent Piazza, Michael Beach, James Russo, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany.

Tulsa King was co-created by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown) and Terence Winter (The Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire).

The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, with Sheridan, Sylvester Stallone, Dave Erickson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Jim McKay, Sheri Elwood, Ildy Modrovich, and Keith Cox serving as executive producers. Erickson also acts as showrunner.

Distribution is handled by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
