Peyton Jackson and Yvette Nicole Brown Join Netflix’s ‘Hollywood Arts’—A ‘Victorious’ Spinoff Starring Daniella Monet

The Victorious universe is officially expanding. Daniella Monet will reprise her fan-favorite role as Trina Vega in Hollywood Arts, a new spinoff of the hit Nickelodeon series heading to Netflix in 2026. Joining Monet in the ensemble are Alyssa Miles, Emmy Liu-Wang, Peyton Jackson, Erika Swayze, and Martin Kamm. Yvette Nicole Brown will guest star.

Originally fast-tracked at Nickelodeon, the 26-episode multi-camera sitcom has been licensed to Netflix and will stream globally before a second-window release on Nickelodeon and Paramount+.

From writers and showrunners Jake Farrow and Samantha Martin, Hollywood Arts follows struggling actress Trina Vega, who returns to her alma mater as an unqualified substitute teacher. Caught between clashing egos and raw talent, Trina unexpectedly becomes a source of chaos and inspiration for a new generation of aspiring stars at Hollywood’s most elite performing arts high school.

Production kicked off in Vancouver earlier this month, following the series’ first table read on October 14. Jonathan Judge (The Really Loud House) directs the pilot and executive produces alongside Monet, Farrow, and Martin.

Produced by Paramount Television Studios, Hollywood Arts marks a major collaboration between Netflix and Nickelodeon following their prior output deals and shared success with Avatar: The Last Airbender and That Girl Lay Lay.

The original Victorious series, which aired from 2010 to 2013, starred Victoria Justice, Ariana Grande, Elizabeth Gillies, Leon Thomas III, Avan Jogia, Matt Bennett, and Monet as Trina Vega. The comedy became a defining show of its era and continues to resonate—its first three seasons on Netflix have amassed over 45 million views since early 2024.

Hollywood Arts premieres on Netflix in 2026, with subsequent releases on Nickelodeon and Paramount+.
