‘Reasonable Doubt,’ ‘Bel-Air,’ and ‘Paradise’ Wrap Filming — Here’s What We Know About Their Next Seasons

Three acclaimed dramas are officially moving into the next stage of production. Reasonable Doubt, Bel-Air, and Paradise have all wrapped filming, setting the stage for new seasons that promise high drama, emotional payoffs, and plenty to talk about.

Reasonable Doubt

Onyx Collective’s Reasonable Doubt has carved out its place as one of Hulu’s most addictive legal dramas. The series follows Jax Stewart, a brilliant yet complicated defense attorney in Los Angeles, played by Emayatzy Corinealdi. Beyond the courtroom, the show dives deep into her personal life, balancing motherhood, relationships, and a career where moral lines are constantly blurred.

Since its 2022 debut, the show has been praised for its layered storytelling and its ability to explore themes like justice, privilege, and survival while centering a Black woman in a space where those perspectives are often left out. Season 2 raised the stakes with more intense cases and personal fallout, and Season 3 is expected to keep that same energy.

In addition to Corinealdi, the ensemble includes McKinley Freeman as Jax’s complicated love interest, Morris Chestnut in a pivotal recurring role, Tim Jo as her associate Daniel, and Angela Grovey as her close friend Krystal. This season also welcomes Joseph Sikora (Power) in a series regular role, alongside Kiah Clingman, Brittany Inge, Brandee Evans (P-Valley), Richard Brooks, Rumer Willis, April Parker Jones, Keith Arthur Bolden, and Kash Doll. Lori Harvey joins in a recurring role as Chelsea, an unpredictable new character who shakes up Jax’s world.

Season 3 premieres September 18 with a two-episode drop before rolling out weekly.

'Bel-Air' Has The Summer on Lock as Peacock Drops Trailer For Season 3

Bel-Air

Peacock’s Bel-Air has redefined a cultural classic. Inspired by Morgan Cooper’s viral 2019 short film that reimagined The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as a drama, the show premiered in 2022 and quickly became one of the platform’s signature series.

At its core, Bel-Air takes the same premise of Will Smith’s original sitcom — a West Philly teen moving in with his wealthy relatives in Bel-Air — but grounds it in present-day social realities. Over three seasons, the series has tackled everything from identity and privilege to mental health and generational family dynamics.

The cast, led by Jabari Banks as Will, includes Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, and Simone Joy Jones. Season 3 left audiences with cliffhangers around Will’s evolving relationships, Hilary’s career choices, and Carlton’s struggles with addiction, ensuring that Season 4 will deliver a powerful send-off.

Filming wrapped earlier this month, and while no release date has been announced, Peacock has confirmed it will be part of the 2025–2026 lineup.

Paradise

Hulu’s Paradise, from This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman, has also wrapped filming on Season 2. The political thriller follows Sterling K. Brown as Secret Service agent Xavier Collins, who uncovers layers of conspiracy after the president’s assassination. Season 1 largely kept the action contained in a bunker, heightening the tension with flashbacks, but Season 2 broadens its world with new threats and storylines.

The cast expands this season with Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty, and Ryan Michelle Bathé — who joins in a guest-starring role opposite her husband Sterling K. Brown. This marks another on-screen collaboration for the couple, who previously appeared together in Army Wives and This Is Us. Returning cast includes James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Aliyah Mastin, and Percy Daggs IV.

Behind the scenes, Fogelman continues as executive producer alongside Brown, John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, John Hoberg, Jess Rosenthal, and Steve Beers. While Hulu hasn’t confirmed a release date yet, production wrapped in mid-August and Season 2 is expected to debut in 2026.

What’s Next

Each of these series has carved its own lane: Reasonable Doubt with its unapologetic legal drama, Bel-Air with its bold reimagining of a cultural classic, and Paradise with its tense political mystery. With filming complete, audiences won’t have to wait much longer to see how these stories unfold.
