Tubi is keeping Boarders on its roster through the very end. The Fox-owned, ad-supported streamer has picked up exclusive U.S., Canada, and Latin American rights to the third and final season of the BBC comedy-drama.
Created and written by BAFTA-nominated Daniel Lawrence Taylor, the series follows five South London teens navigating life at an elite British private school. The main cast—Jodie Campbell, Sekou Diaby, Aruna Jalloh, Myles Kamwendo, and Josh Tedeku—return for their final term at St. Gilbert’s. With exams looming, they’re determined to dream big beyond school walls. But a fierce rivalry with a neighboring academy brings chaos, new enemies, love interests, and fractured friendships that threaten to derail their futures.
The supporting cast includes Niky Wardley, Assa Kanouté, Tallulah Greive, Rosie Graham, Georgina Sadler, Zheng Xi Yong, Archie Fisher, Andrew Harmon-Gray, Ruxandra Porojnicu, Maxim Ays, Al Foran, William Andrews, and Yuriri Naka.
Behind the scenes, writers Cherish Shirley, Temi Wilkey, Alex Straker, Emma Dennis-Edwards, and Yemi Oyefuwa join Taylor on the scripts, with directing from Yero Timi-Biu and Satya Bhabha. Taylor and Madeleine Sinclair executive produce for Studio Lambert, alongside Nawfal Faizullah for the BBC. Germany’s ZDF is also onboard, with additional partners including Stan (Australia), Discovery (New Zealand), Amazon Prime Video Africa, and multiple European broadcasters.
The six-part season will mark the conclusion of a series that has been described as funny, honest, proudly Black, and full of heart.
