Tracee Ellis Ross is back to overpack and explore once again.

Roku Originals has officially renewed Solo Traveling With Tracee Ellis Ross for a second season following its record-breaking debut. The unscripted lifestyle series, which premiered July 25, has become the most-watched unscripted Roku Original in the platform’s history, based on unique viewers in its first two weeks.

In the first season, Ross brought her signature humor, vulnerability, and curiosity to Morocco, Mexico, and Spain—inviting viewers to embrace the joy of solo travel and the beauty of self-discovery. Season 2 will continue that journey as the Black-ish and Girlfriends star touches down in three brand-new locations.

“There’s so much more to see and do—the world is our oyster!” Ross said in a statement. “Here’s to all the solo travelers out there, the aspiring solo travelers, those who share in the joy of solo travel by watching me do it, and of course, to my fellow over-packers!”

The Emmy-nominated actor and founder of Pattern Beauty is currently in full travel mode, with an appearance set at the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival on friday, where she’ll speak about the show’s success and resonance.

But the biggest thank you goes to everyone who has watched, embraced and shared my journeys. The way the show is resonating feels truly special — all of the comments, the conversations, the connection… my cup runneth over.”

Roku execs echoed her excitement. Brian Tannenbaum, head of Roku Originals, praised Ross’ impact, saying she “set a new gold standard for unscripted storytelling.” Olivia LaRoche, Roku’s head of alternative originals, added: “This series has struck a powerful chord with audiences, blending inspiration, culture, and authenticity in each destination.”
