2026 BAFTA Film Awards: Ryan Makes History, Wunmi Mosaku Wins, and More [FULL LIST OF WINNERS – Updating]

History was made in London tonight.

Ryan Coogler added another defining moment to an already seismic awards season, becoming the first Black winner in BAFTA’s 75+ history to win for Original Screenplay for Sinners. The win marks a major milestone not just for Coogler, but for the broader landscape of global cinema.

And he wasn’t alone.

Wunmi Mosaku delivered a powerful moment of her own, winning Supporting Actress for Sinners, further cementing the film’s dominance across the ceremony. With 13 nominations — the most ever for a film directed by a Black filmmaker — Sinners continues its historic run as it heads into Oscar voting.

Elsewhere, One Battle After Another, Hamnet, and Frankenstein also scored major wins, while Sean Penn, My Father’s Shadow, and Mr. Nobody Against Putin took home key honors.

Hosted by Alan Cumming, the ceremony airs in the U.K. on BBC One and streams via iPlayer beginning at 7 p.m. GMT. In the U.S., the broadcast airs on E! at 8 p.m. ET/PT in a delayed telecast.
