The series is set in a world “five minutes into the future,” where first-generation American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale, played by Simu Liu, discovers that his brain has been hacked. The breach allows unknown perpetrators to access everything he sees and hears, placing Hale in a dangerous game of espionage. Struggling between his mysterious agency and the hackers, Hale must act flawlessly to expose those responsible and prove his loyalty.

Daniel steps into the role of Parker, an intelligence officer thrust into a new and complex world she must navigate while Barrera portrays Michelle, a character shrouded in deception. d’Arcy James will play John Moira, a mentor unafraid of making tough calls, with O’Brien as the ambitious Cobb and Chalfant as the quiet, strategic leader, St. George.

The series was created by Thomas Brandon, who will also serve as executive producer and co-showrunner alongside Jennifer Yale (‘See,’ ‘Outlander’). James Wan, known for ‘The Conjuring’ and ‘M3GAN,’ is on board as executive producer, along with Michael Clear, Rob Hackett, Mark Winemaker, and Jet Wilkinson, who will direct the first two episodes. Simu Liu is also attached as an executive producer. The series is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group.
