‘Sistas’ Season 10 Shakes Up Cast as Ebony Obsidian and Novi Brown Exit Series Regular Roles; Jordan Coleman and Tunde Oyeneyin Join [TRAILER]

‘Sistas’ Season 10: Ebony Obsidian & Novi Brown Exit as Regulars; Jordan Coleman & Tunde Oyeneyin Join [TRAILER]

Ahead of the Season 10 premiere of Sistas, BET’s long-running hit series is undergoing a notable cast shift.

Ebony Obsidian and Novi Brown will not return as series regulars for the milestone season, which premieres January 7 at 9 p.m. ET on BET. Both actresses have been with the show since its 2019 debut, with Obsidian portraying salon owner Karen Mott and Brown starring as bank supervisor Sabrina Hollins. No official reason has been given for their departures, and it remains unclear whether either will appear in Season 10 to wrap up their storylines. Deadline reports that representatives for both actresses have been contacted.

Returning for Season 10 are KJ Smith, Mignon, and Crystal Renee Hayslett, alongside a strong supporting cast that includes Angela Beyince, Devale Ellis, Brian Jordan Jr., Chris Warren, and Monti Washington.

Joining the series as new regulars are Jordan Coleman (All American: Homecoming) and Tunde Oyeneyin (Life & Beth). Coleman stars as “Cheyenne Barnes,” a fiercely confident hairstylist whose bold sexuality and razor-sharp wit command attention, masking the emotional scars she’s carried for years. Though driven by a desire for luxury and ease, her reunion with her sister Andi slowly peels back layers of guarded vulnerability she’s long tried to bury.

Oyeneyin stars as “Madison Truitt,” a powerful, self-assured entrepreneur whose commanding presence and unapologetic ambition have carved her a space in a male-dominated world. Beneath her polished exterior lies a yearning for love and partnership—one that matches her strength, despite whispers that her standards are too high.

Season 10 picks up in the aftermath of last season’s shocking car bomb finale, with tensions high and loyalties tested. As past choices resurface, not everyone emerges unchanged.

Produced by Tyler Perry Studios, Season 10 is executive produced by Perry, written by Courtney Glaude, and directed by Armani Ortiz.

Sistas returns January 7 with new episodes airing Wednesdays on BET.
