Paramount+ treated Trekkies to an exclusive first look at the fourth season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds during the Star Trek Universe panel at New York Comic Con on Saturday.
The footage teased an intense sequence featuring Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) leading the U.S.S. Enterprise into a violent storm to rescue a stranded ship—only for the crew to lose power and become trapped themselves. As the Enterprise drifts through a warp field, the team must send a shuttle to a nearby planet to find iridium, the only way to restart their warp drive.
Alongside the clip, Paramount+ also shared a behind-the-scenes featurette highlighting the creation of the show’s Season 3 costumes, giving fans a closer look at the detailed craftsmanship behind the series’ acclaimed visuals.
The Comic Con panel featured stars Ethan Peck, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, and Martin Quinn, joined by co-showrunners and executive producers Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers, and executive producer Alex Kurtzman. Together, they offered insights into what’s ahead for the crew and how the new season deepens the emotional stakes of the story.
In the upcoming fourth season, the Enterprise continues its voyage across the galaxy—battling both inner demons and cosmic threats, encountering new civilizations, and reuniting with familiar faces. The season promises a blend of adventure, heart, and the timeless optimism that defines the Star Trek legacy.
The series stars Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, and Martin Quinn, with guest stars Carol Kane and Paul Wesley returning.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is produced by CBS Studios, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment, with Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers serving as co-showrunners and executive producers alongside Alex Kurtzman and Rod Roddenberry.
