Hallmark is making this holiday season extra special with not one, but two festive projects from Tamera Mowry-Housley.
First up is the series premiere of Baked With Love: Holiday, debuting October 27. Hosted by Mowry-Housley alongside guest judges Chef Anna Haugh and Vaughn Vreeland, the culinary competition brings holiday cheer from the kitchen straight to viewers’ screens.
Then, on Sunday, November 16, Mowry-Housley stars in the heartwarming original film Tidings For the Season opposite B.J. Britt and Elijah-Justus Lewis. The holiday film follows Adam Kade (Britt), a hardworking newscaster who is all about ambition and climbing the ranks. But everything changes when he crosses paths with Robbie (Lewis), a 10-year-old fan who wants his favorite anchor to spotlight good news for once. In trying to honor Robbie’s request, Adam discovers more than just a shift in perspective—he meets Lucy (Mowry-Housley), Robbie’s devoted single mother.
As Adam begins reporting uplifting stories about everyday heroes, he finds himself drawn to both Lucy and her son. But when new career opportunities arise, Adam must decide between chasing the bigger job or embracing the community and relationships that have given him a new sense of purpose.
These projects are part of Hallmark’s 16th annual Countdown to Christmas, which kicks off October 17 and runs nonstop through the end of the year with nearly 80 hours of brand-new content.
