Lifetime is doubling down on love, drama, and second chances with its newest addition to the Terry McMillan Presents slate. Entertainment Tonight exclusively released the official trailer for His, Hers & Ours, a romantic dramedy headlined by Taye Diggs, Lesley-Ann Brandt, and Aimee Garcia.

The film also marks a Lucifer reunion between Brandt and Garcia, bringing their chemistry from the beloved series into a new story about family, forgiveness, and unexpected love.

Diggs and Brandt not only star but also serve as executive producers on the film, the third installment in the Terry McMillan Presents collection following Tempted by Love and Forever.

In His, Hers & Ours, Diggs plays Darius, a single father whose world turns upside down when he catches his teenage daughter, Kai — played by  Chloe Flowers — in bed with her boyfriend, Isaiah (Tyler Lofton). What starts as a moment of panic turns into an unexpected connection when Isaiah’s mother Kelly, played by Brandt, shows up at Darius’ door demanding answers. As tensions rise, sparks start to fly — and suddenly, these two protective parents find themselves navigating more than just co-parenting chaos.

The cast also includes Juanita Jennings, Curtis Hamilton, and Mea Wilkerson.

Directed by Patricia Cuffie-Jones from a script by Bart Baker, the film is produced by The Ninth House in association with Motion Entertainment, a WPP Media company. Executive producers include Taye Diggs, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Terry McMillan, and Charles Murray, alongside Richard Foster and Chet Fenster for Motion Entertainment. Autumn Federici, Jake Helgren, and Emmy-winning producer Shelby Stone round out the producing team.

Whether you’re here for the chemistry, the co-parenting chaos, or McMillan’s signature storytelling, His, Hers & Ours looks like the next must-watch love story when it hits Lifetime as part of the network’s Love of a Lifetime slate — which also includes Terry McMillan Presents: Preach, Pray, Love, Eric Jerome Dickey’s Friends and Lovers, and Toni Braxton’s He Wasn’t Man Enough.
