The sequel to “That ’70s Show,” titled “That ’90s Show,” is gearing up for another season with a lineup of guest appearances and confirmed premiere dates for its upcoming parts. The news was revealed during the “That ’90s Show” Clash of the Casts event at Netflix Is a Joke Festival’s Outside Joke.

The complete guest star roster for Parts 2 and 3 includes a mix of familiar faces and new additions. Joining the ensemble are Kadeem Hardison, Will Forte, Seth Green, Lisa Loeb, Carmen Electra, Wayne Knight, Kevin Smith, Tommy Chong, Jason Mewes, and Matt Rife.

They join returning series regulars Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp, Callie Haverda, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Reyn Doi and Sam Morelos.

The official Part 2 synopsis reads, “It’s 1996 and Leia Forman is back in Point Place for another summer of fun with her friends and grandparents, Kitty and Red. Leia and Jay are excited to be together again after nine months of long distance. But she’s on edge since Jay still doesn’t know she almost kissed Nate. Nate is concerned that his girlfriend, Nikki, doesn’t know either. How long can they keep this secret? Turns out, not long at all. And when the truth finally comes out, relationships are threatened, friendships are at stake, and the summer is on the verge of ending before it even gets started.”

While fans will also see the return of familiar faces like Andrea Anders and That ’70s Show alumni Laura Prepon, Don Stark, and Tommy Chong, That ’70s Show originals Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher will not be returning for the second season. Kutcher’s Michael Kelso and Kunis’s Jackie guest-starred in the spinoff as the parents of Jay Kelso, played by Mace Coronel.

Kunis recently said she and Kutcher would not return for the second season of That ’90s Show, saying in an interview with ET, “We did our thing, and they introduced our son in the show.”

“That ’90s Show” Part 2 is set to premiere on June 27 on Netflix, followed by Part 3 on Oct. 24. The trailer for Part 2 offers a glimpse into the nostalgic yet fresh narrative that awaits viewers.

Showrunner Gregg Mettler co-created “That ’90s Show” with Bonnie and Terry Turner, co-creators of “That ’70s Show,” and Lindsey Turner. All serve as executive producers alongside Rupp, Smith, Marcy Carsey, Tom Werner, Mandy Summers, Chrissy Pietrosh and Jessica Goldstein.

That ’70s Show ran for eight seasons on Fox for a total of 200 episodes.
