‘The Night Agent’ Season 3: Fola Evans-Akingbola & Albert Jones Promoted to Series Regulars With Amanda Warren Returns Recurring [FIRST LOOK]

Netflix has confirmed that The Night Agent is back for its third season, with Fola Evans-Akingbola and Albert Jones elevated to series regulars, while Amanda Warren returns in a recurring role. The series, created by Shawn Ryan and based on Matthew Quirk’s novel, will premiere February 19, 2026.

Returning & New Cast

Gabriel Basso returns as Night Agent Peter Sutherland, joined by:

  • Fola Evans-Akingbola – Secret Service agent Chelsea Arrington (series regular, previously in Season 1)
  • Albert Jones – Deputy Director Aiden Mosely (promoted from recurring)
  • Ward Horton – Governor/incoming President Richard Hagan (promoted from recurring)
  • Louis Herthum – Shady information broker Jacob Monroe
  • Amanda Warren – Peter’s Night Action boss Catherine Weaver (recurring)

New series regulars include:

  • Genesis Rodriguez – Journalist Isabel
  • Stephen Moyer – Hitman known as “The Father”
  • David Lyons – Former spy Adam
  • Jennifer Morrison – First Lady
  • Callum Vinson – New addition to the Night Action team

Luciane Buchanan, who played Rose Larkin in the first two seasons, will not return, with Rodriguez’s Isabel stepping into a similar role for the story.

Season 3 Storyline & Locations

Season 3 takes Peter on an “adrenaline-fueled thrill ride” across Istanbul, Mexico City, Washington D.C., New York, and the Dominican Republic, tackling a dangerous conspiracy at the White House. The story kicks off when Peter tracks a young Treasury agent (Suraj Sharma) who fled to Istanbul with sensitive government intel after killing his boss. The investigation plunges him into a dark money network while putting him on a collision course with a relentless journalist.

Filming primarily took place in New York, with a location shoot in Istanbul highlighted in the teaser trailer.

Performance & Season 4 Outlook

The Night Agent broke into Netflix’s Most Popular TV (English) list at #7 in its first season and has reached the Top 10 in 93 countries, amassing over 134 million views. The second season also performed well, topping the English-language TV list during its premiere week.

Netflix has already shown confidence in the series with an early Season 3 renewal and indications of a likely fourth season, as the California Film Commission confirmed tax credits for a Los Angeles production for the next installment.
