The Vince Staples Show’ Season 2 Trailer: Vince Is Back and Searching for Peace (in His Own Way)

He’s back. The Vince Staples Show officially returns to Netflix on November 6, and the new trailer sets the tone for another unpredictable, satirical, and strangely heartfelt season.

This time around, Vince is on a wild road to self-discovery after a tragic loss — but peace isn’t exactly part of the plan. Season 2 follows him as he searches for inner calm, only to find reminders of his haunted past waiting around every corner. The result? A darkly funny, genre-bending trip through grief, fame, and everyday absurdity.

The six-episode season once again centers Staples as a fictionalized version of himself, alongside Vanessa Bell Calloway and Naté Jones, who play his mom and sister. The show’s creative team returns too, with Kenya Barris, Corey Smyth, William Stefan Smith, Andrea Sperling, and Leonard Chang serving as executive producers, and Staples co-creating the series with Ian Edelman and Maurice Williams.

Season 1 introduced audiences to Vince’s unique blend of humor and realism — a world where surreal moments collide with everyday struggles. Season 2 promises to go deeper into that world, expanding its perspective without losing the dry, offbeat rhythm that made the show so distinct.

Since the first season dropped in 2024, Staples has remained one of the culture’s most versatile voices — from dropping his album Dark Times to being named on TIME’s 100 Next list. Now, he’s stepping back into his own universe, one where anything can happen and everything feels a little too real.

The Vince Staples Show Season 2 premieres November 6 on Netflix.
