The holidays are coming early to Netflix — and this year, they’re bringing Tia Mowry along for the ride.
The streamer just dropped first-look photos from My Secret Santa, a festive romantic comedy starring Alexandra Breckenridge, Ryan Eggold, Tia Mowry, Madison MacIsaac, and Diana Maria Riva. The film is directed by Mike Rohl (The Princess Switch trilogy) and written by Ron Oliver (Falling for Christmas) and Carley Smale (Snowed-Inn Christmas).
Set for release on December 3, 2025, My Secret Santa follows a vivacious single mom who takes an unusual route to secure a holiday paycheck — by disguising herself as Santa at a luxury ski resort. But things take a turn when she starts catching feelings for the resort’s manager, played by Eggold.
“She’s desperate to pay her rent and send her daughter to snowboarding school,” Breckenridge told Entertainment Weekly, calling the story “a little Mrs. Doubtfire, a little The Santa Clause.” The transformation required hours of prosthetics and makeup, but Breckenridge said the challenge “reignited this passion of why I do what I do.”
Beyond the comedy, she promises plenty of heart. “Through this wacky experience, she realizes she can be there for her daughter and still find love — and happiness — for herself.”
The first-look photos feature Mowry as Natasha, Breckenridge as both Taylor and her Santa alter ego “Hugh Mann,” and Eggold as the charming manager who unknowingly falls for her.
